NWS Spotter WCC02 (my weather station)

This is my Weather Station server/computer setup. Dedicated 24" LCD, secondary 22" LCD and Macbook Pro 2.4ghz computer.

• Server is a Dell P4 2.0 w/ 2GB RAM
• running VWS, Spotter network, WeatherTAP Radar HD, StormPredator, Interwarn and others.
• OS WMR100 Pro Wireless weather station, UV detector.
  

Other computers:

• PC is a Gateway Dual Core 3.4 Ghz with 4GB RAM, DVD/DVD RAM
• HP Linux Media server NAS with 1 TB backup storage. Linksys NAS with 500GB and 150 GB backups. (over 1.5 TB storage.)
  
• Amazon S3 automatic storage backup
• Main PC, Gateway Phenom Quad Core PC with 4 GB Ram on a Dell 27" HDTV monitor (not pictured.) & Blu-Ray.
  
• Toshiba Quad Core 18.4" LAPTOP (not pictured) with hand gestures.
• Apple MacBook Pro 15" (2.4ghz) 4GB ram with USB soundsticks.
  
• HP 2200DN printer
• HP 4550 Color Laser
• Brother MFC scanner, copier, fax (color)

approx. 1.40" of rain measured since 4pm Saturday.....minor flooding in Hampshire Co. WV and Northern Frederick Co. Va...

Heavy rains soak the area..

...sorta unexpected rains soaked the area...Northern Frederick Co. Va was under a Flash Flood Warning due to flooding on Rt9 in WV. I've measured well over 1.00" of rain thus far since 4pm. Expect more rain tomorrow and possibly on and off rain all week from what I can tell...stay tuned to this blog and follow MyWinchester.org on Twitter!

High Wind Watch CANCELED!

...The high wind watch for the area West of the Blue Ridge Mountains have been canceled becaused the forecast winds will be under the criteria for a Watch.

...However, winds will be up to 40mph with rain later this evening.
